Katina Pinkama
The Katina pinkama is the most meritorious ceremony of the Buddhist year, marking the end of the three-month rains retreat (vassa). Devotees gather to offer the Katina robe and requisites to the Sangha in a joyful day of generosity, procession, and devotion.
